Parva sed Magna

I've been feeling kind a little flat, bored and unmotivated the last few days. Which is ridiculous because the sun is shining and the sky is clear and perfect. I should be spinning cartwheels all over this gorgeous creation. But I'm not. I recently heard someone say something along the lines of 'we are just ordinary people, with an extraordinary God.' I've been thinking about that this morning, and realizing that my 'ordinary' life is starting to feel dull. God forbid. Seriously. My existence (YOUR existence) is extraordinary, and filled with touches of the divine even when we are too apathetic to acknowledge it.

So, in an effort to help myself remember that beauty and wonder exists even in the mundane, I'm going to come up with five things in the last week that were ordinary, and yet rare and beautiful.

One > Dinner at Papa Jones ...... not just the dinner but the entire evening in itself was unforgetable.

Two > The movie ' Akarosh ' . Coz of two things. Machine greeting THE couple ..... and the guy's expression.... Priceless ....... and second ' Dinu was the smartest guy in the class '.Kya Nippo , you are not as smart as Dinu ;).

Three > Nippo suggesting us ' Aaj karte hai ..... aaj karte hai naa '.........
Yash : Chalo karte hai ..... but kahan hall main ya room main .
FYI they were talking about settling the monthly expenditure on groceries and other bills.

Four > Getting rolled of from the project . No hard feelings Parag but you are the oldest and smartest ABAP-er i've ever seen . It's just that i hate commenting a lot ..... that too when i am asked to modify the TS just because it was written simple enough for a child of four ......

Five > Last but not the least, Cooking Nippo's Favorite Poha at 2 in the morning just because he was hungry even after a sumptous dinner and deserts at CCD .

To some it may seem little or insignificant , but well it is the small things in life that helps us to go through monotonous, repetitive and uneventful days.

At last, ( for the very few who are still reading this insipid chatter of a mad man;) ) I would end this blog with some very beautiful lines from William Blake ,

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
-- William Blake
